What a wonderful find and well kept secret. The Pedn Olva is a hotel, bar and restaurant and it's all dog friendly. The bar meals are first class and the food in the restaurant is fine dining quality and at a reasonable price. The staff are super friendly and even brought our little Westie a fresh bowl of water. The views from the bar and restaurant are stunning. If you're in St Ives and don't want pasties or typical pub grub, try the Pedn Olva it's near the railway station so plenty of parking.

You can eat anywhere in the pub, there are no special places for dogs. Customers and bar staff were all friendly and whilst there were no dog bowls in evidence I'm sure if we'd asked we would have been given one.

This pub is extremely dog friendly ie dog lying down by the side of supporters table in the main area and they ate there every night of their week's holiday. The food lovely with great choices and it was freshly cooked with local produce where possible, not fine dining so no need to dress up. The staff were friendly and it seemed to be popular with locals too. There is a dog friendly cottage about 5 minutes walk away from the pub which also added to its attraction and the area is great for walks.

This pub/restaurant was opened recently after a thorough refurbishment of the old school. It's lovely inside - wood floors, leather armchairs and really friendly barstaff. We were all - two and four-legged alike - made to feel very welcome. The food was fantastic - really well-cooked British food. And it's all local. We'll definitely be back for more!

After enjoying a brisk coastal walk, rest your feet at this grand old coaching inn that's well worth the short detour. Dogs are welcome throughout but must be kept on a lead. The menu, served all day, is traditional but good and plentiful, reasonably priced too. Run by Jeanette and Malcolm, a friendly local couple who know all the attractions of the area. Large bar and lots of cosy corners. Large rear garden with a patio and fish pond. Accommodation is available too, where dogs are welcome to stay. (There might be a small charge for larger dogs.)
