The local CAMRA 2008 Pub of the Year and Cider Pub of the Year Featured in the Good Pub Guide, Good Beer Guide and Good Cider Guide, the Blue Bell Inn always has 4 real ales (one being their own Blue Bell Bitter) and at least 2 ciders and a perry (they make their own cider). It has had hundreds of beers over the years featured on the ceiling with a large library of pump clips. The pub serves food on Saturday and Sunday lunchtimes. HOLYWELL Glan-yr-Afon Inn

450 year old inn (now modernised) is situated between Holywell and the A55 Expressway with wonderful views over the River Dee. An inviting menu with some nice touches such as a plate containing sample of all the sweets for two people. Very quiet. They also have an open log fire in the bar which is even lit during the Summer.

700 year old Drovers inn and a very friendly welcome from dog friendly new Landlord. Dogs allowed in bar/side dining areas. Excellent Titanic Anchor & Lifeboat beers on tap. Good basic home cooked food and apparently excellent Sunday Lunches. A perfect stopping place for walkers with dogs in the Dee Valley.
