BLACKSHAW The New Delight Inn
The New Delight (known affectionately to locals as 't'newdie') is situated at Colden, a tiny hamlet on the moors above Hebden Bridge. Publican Dan Tasker and his father, Max bought the village pub in 2002 - after its previous owners had left and it had closed down. Very dog friendly and welcoming.

HEADINGLEY Arcadia Ale and Wine Bar
In the centre of Headingley, a thriving student part of Leeds, is this amazing treat of a pub, that hasn't opted for the trendy bar, but stayed traditional in it's surroundings. Good local beers and a massive welcome for my English Setter, who was greeted with a bowl of water, a doggie biccie and big cuddle from one of the bar staff. When he laid down to have a snooze, they even blocked off the path with chairs so no one would trip over him!
