Just visited this pub with some friends and found your website after I got home. Spoke with staff and they say they're happy to welcome well-behaved dogs. Didn't sample the food, though, but what others were eating looked good. It is a bit in the middle of nowhere, but there are a number of transport links including, according to the website, 7 buses a day.
