Set high up on the North Downs immediately adjacent to the Woodland Trust estate at Hucking, 560 acres to walk the dog, 365 days of the year. Al Fresco dining is a speciality and dogs are welcome on the patio, terrace and garden. Ther are often over 20 dogs in the garden at once which is why they are firm about staying outside, but we serve food there all year (so Millie says we should waive our rules and include them). An ancient and picturesque pub dating from 1420, just a mile or so from the medieval Cinque Port of Sandwich, serving great food and real ales.
