This pub is extremely dog friendly ie dog lying down by the side of supporters table in the main area and they ate there every night of their week's holiday. The food lovely with great choices and it was freshly cooked with local produce where possible, not fine dining so no need to dress up. The staff were friendly and it seemed to be popular with locals too. There is a dog friendly cottage about 5 minutes walk away from the pub which also added to its attraction and the area is great for walks.

Really friendly place with stunning location . Asked if we could bring our 2 large dogs in and the Manager replied in good humour "as long as I leave with both my legs you can bring the mother in law too". After that it just got better - great food and an really enjoyable afternoon . They let dogs stay over night - there was a charge of £20.00 for well behaved dogs but not in the breakfast or restaurant area.
